The basis of the Life Squared project [link] is an archive of the work of Lynn Hershman held at Stanford University.

Life Squared is a project to re-animate elements of this archive in the online world Second Life.

This is a preliminary listing of the Lynn Hershman papers at Stanford University. It is not a completed finding aid, as the collection is still being "processed." So, it is not yet opened to the public for use, though we hope that will happen soon. However, this listing should serve the project well as food for thought, data for ruminations about navigating and animating the archive.
